Hello, I am having issues with my GA4 (google analytics 4) property.

GA4 is recording unique users on the same page twice, for example:

A page with the name and title: “Blog | Page title” is also recorded without the title as: “Blog”. The one with the title seems correct as this is the one that is also recording page views and so on…

But why are both showing up? It is messing up my reporting. I tried to check the SEO settings for the title but couldn’t find any option that would help me. I can remove the site title from the title, but this was not recommended, and something I don’t want to do either.

    Screen of the issue: https://ibb.co/Kh50xtH

Could you advise on this? I use pixelyoursite plugin for tracking code and pixels.

    Regards,

    Hello!

The PyS plugin responsible could be sending multiple requests to GA4, providing different details. I believe it pings via gtag for Analytics and Google Ads separately. I suggest conferring with their support first — and do provide a direct link to the pages affected. Google Analytics should allow you to display the URI related to the titles found.

TSF doesn’t affect what’s send via GA4; so, I’m marking this as resolved. Also note that we cannot support paid products on these forums.
