On the plugin authorisation page my UA and GA4 accounts display old names and URLs that have since been changed in GA settings. Clearing cache, deleting and re-adding plugin, re-authorising doesn’t change this.

Furthermore, GA4 is not recording visits, I am using real-time to test it and while UA works, GA4 doesn’t.

    Hi,

On the plugin authorisation page my UA and GA4 accounts display old names and URLs that have since been changed in GA settings. Clearing cache, deleting and re-adding plugin, re-authorising doesn’t change this.

Can you give more specific details of what was changed, examples, not real names, but the exact location of changes under your UA and GA4 properties?

Furthermore, GA4 is not recording visits, I am using real-time to test it and while UA works, GA4 doesn’t.

Just to be sure, are you using the realtime report on analytics.google.com, to check if there’s any traffic?

I was able to resolve the GA4 issue but Universal Analytics is not tracking data, I believe due to the following:

Default URL: [DISPLAYS AN OLD URL]

In Google Analytics, UA – we have updated the default url:

Admin > Property Settings > Default URL

    And in:

Admin > View Settings > Default URL

Yet in AIWP, General Settings – the Universal Analytics dropdown displays:

    oldurl.com > All Website Data

I have cleared cache, removed and reinstalled plugin etc – it still displays the old URL, and is not tracking any data in Realtime or otherwise.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Admin > View Settings > Website’s URL must be updated in your analytics account.

The pair displayed in the drop-down list, in AIWP, is retrieved directly from your Google Analytics account as Website’s URL => View Name. So, it looks like Website’s URL isn’t updated for some reason in your Google Account.
