    Hi!

We have a situation on our client’s website. It’s a really simple website so we don’t have much configuration. Already did the checkin by deleting the google analytics code from the plugin will remove both tags.

Thing is, that when we do the Tag Analysis we have the gtag.js tag and another one, Universal, that we have no idea where or how, but somehow, it’s always tracking.

Both tags are located on the header. We double checked that Complianz is not doing anything because we didn’t gave them the tag info

    Glad to help.

Not sure what is happening but the second GA script shown in your screenshot is not added by this plugin. The first one *is* added by this plugin, as can be determined by the credit line in the HTML comment that says “GA Google Analytics”, which is the plugin’s name.

That in mind, the second GA script must be coming from another plugin, or maybe something the theme is adding. A bit of quick troubleshooting can help determine the source of the script. I would be glad to provide a free guide if it might be useful for you.

Let me know how I can help.
