    Hi,

do you have any release date for GA4 compatibility?
We already moved our analytics form UA to GA4 – if GA4 compatibility is not too
far away we would wait …

    cheers and many thanks

    Hello @paulwessiack,

Accessing GA4 properties/streams is not possible at the moment, as the API is still in beta :

    https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/config/admin/v1

Warning: This is an early preview version of the API and is subject to change. While we will try to notify you of upcoming changes, you should expect to encounter breaking changes before the APIs are publicly released.

As soon as Google releases the final version of their API, we will add GA4 to the widget.

For now, you can create new properties with both “GA4” and “UA” tracking codes, which will be visible in the widget.

When you create a property, click on “Show Advanced Options” and click on “Create a Universal Analytics Property”.

Please be advised, this will not work for already created properties, as you need to create a new property, to have the “advanced options”.

I hope it is clear now.

@laragoogleanalytics Hello, at this time, they are not even supporting anything else, I tried and it would not work.

Seems it’s for new accounts only, yet the Google Site Kit works without fail. So maybe they have the cart before the horse this time, no new accounts can be setup using anything but GA4.

    Please advise and thank you…
