GA not getting ecommerce data from GTM4WP

Hello,
I’m using Enhanced Ecommerce tracking for my website.
Before explaining the issue, we have a staging environment where you can simulate a purchase using testing card number 4242 4242 4242 4242, any expiry date and secret code: https://staging-secretcitytrails.temp513.kinsta.cloud/product/the-hidden-gems-of-portos-historic-centre/
My GTM4WP was working fine and suddenly I stopped receiving ecommerce events on GA. I checked the dataLayer object and used GTM preview and it seems that gtm4wp.checkoutStepEEC and gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC are not triggering during the last step (gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC never gets triggered).
I followed the Enhanced ecommerce setup guide https://gtm4wp.com/how-to-articles/how-to-setup-enhanced-ecommerce-tracking but couldn’t solve it.
The trigger on GTM has the following events: gtm4wp.productClickEEC|gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC|gtm4wp.removeFromCartEEC|gtm4wp.checkoutOptionEEC|gtm4wp.checkoutStepEEC|gtm4wp.changeDetailViewEEC|gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC
Container code placement is at the Footer.

It seems that our WooCommerce checkout and cart pages customizations affected GA. Also, these pages were outdated since we customized and added them to the childtheme/woocommerce.
After I created new cart and checkout pages (adding just [woocommerce_cart] to cart page and [woocommerce_checkout] to checkout page, see https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/) and set up WooCommerce > Advanced settings to point to the new pages, the gtm4wp Order Complete event started to trigger.
All this happened because we wanted to have the cart and checkout on one page.
