    Hi Erik,

I’ve checked some other accounts but I do not see this kind of behavior.
Are you sure you do not have some sort of custom JS variable or custom HTML tag that translates those fields inside your GTM container before data is being sent to GA?

Could you post the URL of your site?

    Hi @duracelltomi

    Thanks for your help.

    The URL is: https://www.molenaarmeubelen.nl
    A Product example: https://www.molenaarmeubelen.nl/product/retrostoel-ribstof/

I am only using your plugin and followed your blog guide to send Enhanced Ecommerce data to GTM.

Looking forward to your reply. Thanks again!

I have checked your site and in the GA hit only the correct product name is transmitted to GA. This means that any concatenation must be happening after this data has been received by GA.

Could you check whether you have any filter defined in the GA admin under the “View” column, on the Filters page? Maybe there is an advanced filter that does this kind of data join.

    Hi @duracelltomi

I checked the Filters page, nothing their neither.

If you like I can give you view-only access to our GA account?
If so, please provide me your e-mail address (mine is [email protected])

    Thanks for helping out!

    Kind regards
    Erik

    Hi Erik,

It is not allowed on this forum to ask for such accesses nor exchange any credentials.

I have been warned before and I do not want to be deleted, I hope you understand that ??

    Hi @duracelltomi

Sorry I was not aware of this!

    Kind regards

It turned out that this kind of joint name+variant name is only sent while sending the transaction data.

I’ve checked this on my test site and it looks like this is working like this since this feature was introduced ?? Strange as this has been never reported before.

The root of this issue is in WooCommerce itself as it stores the name+variant name AS the product name into the order data which my plugin read and outputted.
I’ve changed this code and it should be fixed in the upcoming bugfix version (v1.8.1)

Thanks again for your kind help and patience, you helped a lot to make this plugin more accurate!

Thank you @duracelltomi for listening and fixing this! Looking forward to the plugin update ??
