• I just installed Genesis Columns Advanced to my setup, which is WordPress 4.8.1, Genesis 2.5.2, and Dynamic Website Builder 2.2.1. I changed my Genesis layout from Content-Sidebar to Content only, then bracketed one blog post to go in the left of two G.C.A. half-columns, and the next following post to go in the right half column.

Contrary to expectations, no columns were generated, and the two two blogs were slightly abridged from their previous partial display. This was exactly the same outcome I’d had with a competitor product, Column Shortcode.

I should note that when I installed G.C.A., there was a notice that it hadn’t been tested with this version of Genesis Framework.

I’d very much like to get this to work, so suggestions would be appreciated!

Update: Wondering if the problem might be the Dynamic Website Builder child theme, I removed it and replaced it with Genesis’s free default child theme. G.C.A. still didn’t work.

Good evening Richard, again, I apologize for the delay. If you can provide me with a link to where I can view the issue, we can get this straightened out.

    Best,
    Nick

    Hello Richard,

Given your 2 star review and difficulty with the plugin, I would love to help you try and get this working if this plugin is capable of doing what you are looking for. I will need to see a link to where GCA is active but not displaying as you hoped.

I look forward to hearing from you…

    Best,
    Nick
