G (and sometimes FB) is pulling the wrong image

  • So I am running 3.9.1 with Jetpack. Everything is up to date last I checked. For some reason, Google+ is usually posting a random image from my sidebar (the same one every freaking time) rather than my featured image.

    Every once in a while it posts the correct image. Meanwhile, Facebook USUALLY gets the image correct.

    I use Jetpack Publicize for G+, Facebook, Tumble, & Twitter

    Please help.

    I looked at the Jetpack OG tags in the post and they point to the correct image.

    The twitter setting are right as well. I am not sure how Google+ is pulling the image, however.

    FWIW, I put a few posts that I am having issues with in g+ through the facebook debugger with no errors.

    The ones that have issues with facebook have featured images that aren’t wide enough. so that is not an issue you need to worry about. However, the G+ thing is still an issue.
