• All in One SEO was updated to 4.3.5.1 and broke the checkout portion of our store.

    Symptoms: The checkout page will fully render at first, then is replaced by a reload or white screen, another cookie notice, and finally, only a portion of the original content and a fallback payment portal. Screenshot attached.

    The Chrome browser dev console reported the following errors:
    A parser-blocking, cross site (i.e. different eTLD+1) script, is invoked via document.write.     jQuery.Deferred exception: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'defaults') TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'defaults')

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'defaults') at HTML Document.

    Access to font at '.../icormon .woff' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

    Disabling the AIOSEO plugin once did not help until multiple plugins were disabled at the same time and re-enabled—save for All In One SEO.

    TL;DR: AIOSEO 4.3.5.1 throws errors pointing to jquery, g-tag-proxy.com, and CORS on WordPress 6.2 & WooCommerce 7.6

    It looks like I’m unable to edit the original post, but AIOSEO looks to be not at fault, even though the problem above mirrored the AIOSEO plugin status through multiple deactivation cycles. Will update.
