I have a Pods install for a client where they can enter text into different Pods fields, but that’s it. After a seemingly innocent text update, the WP page with the Pods template crashed – major SQL error, citing an unrecognized Pods category in a column.

Since I hadn’t touched any of this Pods code in a long time, I headed over to this forum and found a post where a similar problem was solved by clearing the Pods internal cache. The site in question had recently update Pods to ver. 2.8.3 I’ll have to admit, I didn’t even realize there WAS a separate Pods cache! Clearing it removed all of the errors. Phew!
