    We discovered an unidentified file named “fw_filesindex.php” in our root folder, and folders named “fw_files” inside cleantalk plugins folders.

    Can you please confirm if they are created by CleanTalk Anti-Spam and/or Security plugins?

    Yes, these are files created by the Anti-Spam plugin. This folder contains the Spam FireWall update files.
