FV WordPress Flowplayer is removing commas from blog posts

I’m using the latest version of the plugin.

For some reason the plugin is removing commas from my wordpress posts as seen here

When I disable the plugin, the commas reappear. There is a comma after “Northeastern was founded in 1978 by the Carosella family, and the next paragraph With today’s increased focus on the environment,

The commas do appear in the backend when editing the post, just not on the live page.

I should also add, that I have the appropriate tags set, but I can’t get the splash image to appear behind the flowplayer here as well as keeping the controlbar visible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
