    Hi Esperanza team!

This is the most beautiful theme I’ve seen in a long time! Kudos to you all.
I had a quick question about the featured images. They’re all of requisite largeness to technically go beyond the scene, yet the featured image area shows a small, cropped, grainy portion.

You can see if you take a look here: aarondear.com

Whatcha think is causing it, or am I doing something horribly, horribly wrong? Looking forward to your thoughts! ??

  • I’m not associated with the developers of this theme, but I went to your web site, and the image I see there is only 150 x 150 pixels. That’s nowhere near large enough to look right in the space at the top of the page.

When I put some graphics at the top of the page (using the Esperanza theme) I used images that measured 950 x 390 pixels, and they look great.

Of course you have to make sure that the image you plan to use at that size is nice and sharp…you won’t be able to just enlarge the 150 x 150 image you’re using.

Haha, I appreciate your help with that. Unfortunately, my WP admin shows the featured image for the tea post is 3264 × 2448, and the black friday image is 940 × 528. I removed the images and reuploaded with the same issue.. doublechecked the size and everything.

I’ll try one more time and see if I get results.

EDIT: The reupload worked this time. I had to download the pics to PC, delete them from WP, then reupload them.

Must’ve been a translation glitch from my old theme.

I’m glad to hear you’ve got it working now. I just checked the graphic on your home page, and now it measures exactly what you said it should…3264 x 2448…a huge difference compared to when I measured it yesterday at 150 x 150.

As you say, it’s probably a glitch that resulted from changing themes.

I’m also working with the Esperanza Theme and I included for every page a different image, but no matter whcih size of the image I have i just don’t seem to get it right. Somehow it always cuts out something of the image, the image never appearce the way I want it to be, either it is squeezed or some parts of the images are missing. What am I doing wrong? Check out the website to get an idea https://www.martinajacobi.de

Thank you so much for your help in advance.

    Cheers,

    Carola
