Fuzzy Search not working

  • First off this is a super cool search I love the look and the idea.

    Is there any way to turn on a fuzzy search.

    This is what I have going on. I am using Product Tags and Product Categories.
    I have in my product tags “superhero, party, invitations, invites, birthday”

    When I do a search for “superhero” I get results but if a do a search for “superhero party” or “superhero birthday party” I get no results. Rendering the plugin useless as most of our users are searching for more than a single word. The search world has progressed to search phrases and that would make this a very useful tool. Again love it and would really love to use it, I hope this can be done.

    Hi there,

    Now available a fresh release of the plugin with Fuzzy search (multiple words) feature.
    You can update the plugin and activate the feature in ‘General’ tab -> ‘Fuzzy Search’ option.

    Hello, so looks like we are getting closer.

    So I have fuzzy search checked and I have the Search in Product Tags checked in the admin.

    When I search for superhero I get the results expected. But when I do a search for “superhero party” I get every listing with the word “party” in the title and no superhero listings at all.

    The product tags I am using for the superhero listing are
    batman, birthday invitation, boys, party, superhero, superman

    So in my mind because I have superhero and party in the tag i should at least get this listing.

    Hello again!

    The fuzzy search works not only for tags, but for all fields – title, excerpt, categories, etc.
    So if you have option to search in title enabled than it will search in title too.

    Hello, so yeah thats the problem. I only have options to search “Product Tags” enabled and I am getting search results as if every options is selected.

    I checked this issue and if “title” option disabled then plugin don’t search in title.
    Maybe there’s a lot of products with “party” tag and they displays first and “superhero” products do not displayed because of results number limitation.
    Can you please check how many products with “party” tag?
