Hi, how can I setup featured image to have a default size for posts? 100% width is fine, but when a large image is uploaded the height is too long. I want to be able to set it as one size for all posts. I tried using CSS but of course the image got distorted. Please can anyone help me?

  • Hi loiruca. The theme uses CSS to size the images to 100% of the content area width. The image height is set to “auto” so it is sized proportionately. You could either edit the images in the Media Library and crop them so they’re all the same size, or edit them (either with an online service like Pixlr.com or a local app like one of these) so they’re the same size before you upload them to your site.

Hi, thanks so much for the quick response. I somehow figured it out. I am designing a blog for a client and she is not going to be resizing images, I want her to be able to upload any size but always show one size only. I found a plugin called Generate Thumbnails and it works. Thanks!
