• Hello Tobias,

After all this time using and loving TP I’d like to make a couple of feature requests….

    (1) a ‘move’ button be added to the Selected rows: – maybe allow a person to select how many rows up or down to move a group of rows to.

    (2) a ‘copy’ button for coping an entire row(s) and pasting it/them where one likes (similar to the move feature above ??

    (3) put a copy of all the Table Manipulation/Options also at the top of the table page – since the page loads from the top. One for manipulation at the top of a table and the other left where it is to do the same at the bottom.

I still have a lot of jumping around to do with my table data – LOL

    Thanks for all you do,

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and the suggestions, I really appreciate it!
I’m already planning to completely rewrite the “Edit” screen, to make it faster and easier to use. I can’t give an estimate on when this will be ready though.

Your ideas should then be even easier, and some things are already possible now:
(2): There’s a “Duplicate” button already, but the duplicated row will then have to be moved.
(3): You could (easiest one a small table) grab and move (drag and drop) the “Table Manipulation” section by clicking and holding its header bar, and then move it up above the “Table Content” section.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Yea, I’ve tried the duplicate feature, but it doesn’t work how I need so it’s more of a pain than help – like copy/paste (copy = duplicate and paste = move ??

And for #3 I’ll give it a try, but dragging for 200+ rows is going to be another pain me thinks.

Glad to hear your on top of things Tobias, your the best!

    Hi,

that’s why, for #3, do this on a small (new or test) table, which is small ?? Moving the “Table Manipulation” section will then affect all tables’ “Edit” screens.

    Regards,
    Tobias
