Future Posts & Future Pings?

We don’t support future pinging yet.

Ok, will it be an added feature in future releases?

I’ve been watching this thread and I would be interested in the answer to this question too. How about it — any plans for implementing pings at the time future posts go live?

Hmm, what is futire posts?

Posts you make and set to publish at some time “ahead”. If you write a post today (4/29 or 4/30 depending on where you are in the world), and don’t want it to go “live” until 5/10….

There is a plugin, wp-cron that does this.
