Future plugin development

  • Hi Justin,

    It’s a great plugin i have discovered recently. Lots of sites do not use Featured Image and prefer to add images into the editor, especially very old sites and blogs. This is the main reason i am using this plugin.

    I see that the plugin was last updated four months ago. Are you going to maintain and develop this plugin in the future?

    Yes, absolutely. I use this on all my sites and in all my themes.

    Don’t get too worried about update frequency. Unlike plugin authors who send out weekly updates with trivial changes, I tend to only update my plugins when they actually have a bug fix or I have an idea for a new feature. ??

    Thank you for your response. Totally agree about the updates approach.

    When using it to fetch the first image from the post, the width and height attributes are being omitted form the image tag. Is there a way to add those attributes or it’s just not possible technically?
