• Sorry the topic has been brought up before but I would like to make banners in the header responsive, yet I don’t have a clue about CSS! My current banner size in the header is set to 500 x 100 px but as the site is viewed on mobile devices too, and the theme is set to responsive, it is cutting the banner off on mobile!

Any help, or idea as to what CSS code I can use? A copy and paste would be ideal, I’m clueless on coding!

    Hello!

Well, the specific answer could be rather involved, but I would start looking at CSS that has specific Pixel values and try and replace those with Percentages (ie, width: 500px; becomes width: 100%;) – that sort of thing.

I can’t really provide a specific answer for you, as it will depend on your site – I’m sorry about that!

This is something that is asked about occasionally, so we are going to work on making banners more malleable for these sorts of situations.

I hope that gets you in the right direction, although I realize the answer is a bit light!

    All the best,
    Richard
