functions.php disaster

  • Long story short, I was reading an article on how to remove the dashboard from non admin users (completely remove it… entirely, not just restrict it). But after updating the functions.php file my entire website shut down and this is all I have. I can’t even get into the admins panel. no lifewithdj.com or lifewithdj.com/wp-admin

    This is all I’ve got

    I’m a novice (literately). Google told me to download FileZilla and reupload the functions.php file but that didn’t work, nor did uploading the entire theme folder. I’m currently uploading all the plugins.

    Suggestions? Advice? A Nuse?

    I reinstalled wordpress but as soon as I reactivate vantage I get the same problem.

    time for a new theme then… i’m not sure why vantage is throwing errors, it’s up to date as far as i know.

    Hey Jack, I just thought I’d let you know I finally got the issue resolved and lifewithdj.com is officially up and running (better than before I might add lol). Wanted to thank you again.

    I’ve since watched tutorials on how to properly back up. So I should be covered from here on out ??
