• Hi,
I had a huge password mess, see other thread if interested. It involved me messing with the emergency script and editing function.php. After I did that it kept throwing header errors.

In desperation I opened an old copy of the theme and grabbed the function.php file out of their. My website seems to be working now alright and I can login and such, but the function.php I installed over the other one was significantly smaller then the one that was in there.

What problems could I have created that I may not be seeing by doing what I did? I don’t know what function.php stores.

    Thanks

If nothing looks wrong on your WordPress installation, and you are not getting any error messages then it’s probably fine.

If you want to be safe and make sure you put back functions.php as it was, you can always download a fresh copy of your theme and just restore that one functions.php file back.
