Functionality Question

    Hi Berkux,

    This plugin looks impressive. I have a scenario and I was hoping you could clarify whether your plugin has the functionality to pull it off. Essentially I need to populate a sports ‘Live Scores’ leaderboard. The theme I am using has a scoreboard feature that gets populated by Posts. Unfortunately it is not much of a ‘live scoring’ solution since someone has to update the post every time there is a score, and there is a post for each game!

    I have access to a sports data API JSON feed that I can hit every minute. Does this plugin have the ability to create a post for each game and then update the individual game posts as scores happen and the API changes?

    Hi David,

    fetching live sport data was the initial need I had when starting this plugin.
    But I think creating a post for each new event is a “not so good idea”.
    Therefore my approach is different: The plugin fetches the API-JSON, converts it into HTML and shows this HTML in WordPress. Without modifying something in WordPress like creating posts or something.
    If you really want / need to import data nad ctreate something WPAllImport-Plugin might help.
