We use the Pro version and it is well worth the price. The look and most importantly – the results – are the best I have found for a website search bar. There is definitely a need to fine tune by adding focus keywords to the predictive search meta at the product level so you can ensure your best products show up for your most popular search terms. This is very simple to do, anyone who is familiar with WordPress SEO by Joost/Yoast will pick this up very quickly.

As an aside we had a problem with the most recent update of the plugin. We notified the developer and they fixed the issue very quickly.
