The short codes and main forms are described well but I can’t find a description for the functionality. For example there is a sub-menu “membership” in the Events under the dashboard but I couldn’t find a description anywhere what that means. The same is true for some other functions. I understand that most of it is intuitively understandable, but why there is a membership function? What is the connection (or difference) between the members and the WP users?
I am a type of person that prefers to read the manual before I jump into trying things.
Can you help me with a link where I can find some description of what is what?
    Thank you.

While I do my best to document functionality, I realize that other parts (especially the use of some) is somewhat unclear. But members and memberships is exactly what is means: you can set up memberships and people can then sign up for those. The reason for these to be separate from WP users is identical to those for event rsvp’s: I don’t want everybody signing up for an event/membership to be in the WP users table (not everything/everybody needs a password) and it is also legacy: events (or anything else in eme) are not posts, so not everything is integrated into WP (while I do use WP extensively of course).
I hope to get around to do some video tutorials, or a users doc …
