Functional, but buggy

I can’t share the glowing praise that the other reviewers have bestowed upon this plugin.

Yes, it allows for a fair amount of customization and features for a free plugin, but it is neither intuitive nor coded well.

Case in point in regards to intuitiveness: Choosing a template is complete guesswork, as the demos on the site are not named the same as in the plugin. This is doubly difficult as you can’t update the template without the plugin kicking you back to the list of sliders, rather than reload to the same slider you were editing.

Coding errors and poor UX choices start to make themselves known when you notice that random front-end thumbnails won’t load on occasion (for no apparent reason), styling sometimes doesn’t display correctly (one of the video slider templates would intermittently display a full-width, 10px line of background CSS over each video), and the animations by default are either too slow or too fast.

While I’m aware of the previous reviews that state the support is excellent, I don’t have the time to fiddle through this and virtually beta-test it for the developer.
