Function to get smaller image version

  • Hey.

    I am making a plugin that needs to get a smaller version of images in posts. I have the image ID.
    I need to be able to set a height and a width to get.

    Does anyone know if WordPress has got such a function, or do I have to make one myself (in that case, how?)?
