Function to enable Settings > Shipment > “Local Pickup” tab by default

Hi,
I would like to know if there is a function that could enable by default the Settings > Shipment > “Local Pickup” tab without using Block Based Checkout (https://woocommerce.com/document/using-the-new-block-based-checkout/).
Seems that the enable function is provided inside the LocalPickupUtils (https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/blob/trunk/plugins/woocommerce/src/StoreApi/Utilities/LocalPickupUtils.php), but I haven’t figured it out yet how to enable.

It sounds like you haven’t yet added the Local Pickup shipping method in WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping. To start using it, add it to your preferred shipping zone as a shipping method.
