    Since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://cyberchimps.com/help/forum/sub-forum/themes-support/premium-themes/

    Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    Thanks James, I’ll check in with the cyberchimps folks.

    Just as an FYI – we found 5GB of this (and related) errors in the log files of one of our sites – it does not appear to have anything to do with the theme in use. Instead it appears to be caused by the USM Premium plugin..
    We’ve contacted them (a day ago) and so far have not heard back..

    If you learn anything else please post here.

    Thanks MrOG,
    Here is what our IT guy found…

    ===========================
    that you’re using functions not available in older versions of mysql
    (though we’re using percona’s mysql clone ‘mariadb’ since they maintain the free version
    of mysql anyway and have augmented it with better performance under
    the name maria, but it’s plug-compatible)

    we were running 10.0 maria, needed 10.2.3 and higher for those json_
    functions.

    had to add a percona software repository to the server’s software distribution
    subscriptions vs using the debian project’s release (which are up to 6-9
    months behind, or sometimes dont appear in the current version and are
    just included in the next version). Next version of debian requires a whole
    server upgrade, dont want to do that just yet til its burned in
