Function create_function() is deprecated

    Hello,

    The WP debug log indicates:
    “PHP Deprecated: Function create_function() is deprecated in /home/wilmin54/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bbp-toolkit/includes/main_page.php on line 702”

    The “Only Parent Forums Showing in Toolkit” support topic issue listed above (from 1 month ago) …has also returned since the “WP 5.5” update.

    I depend on the custom code: “https://gist.github.com/greathmaster/e67f1ae0feb28c9ab3521b404c8e0544” …to auto subscribe users to forums, based on their interests. But it also will not work unless the child forums are displayed in the Toolkit. So their cause is probably the same.

    Very sincere thanks for any assistance to resolve this and/or suggest a more current method that can be used to add and remove new users’ subscriptions.
