    Hello

I’ve been getting this notice in my log file:

PHP Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the wp-smushit domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/farmer/web/w-pea.com/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114

I’m using the latest version of the plugin (3.17.1).

    Hi @geomagas

I hope you are doing well today.

Can you visit WP Dashboard -> Tools -> Site Health and see are there any issues detected?

Also, does the site use a different language than English? Please note that in Dec we fixed that error which was caused by WP 6.7 compatibility. Can you let us know which WP core version you use on that site?

If you visit Media Library, does any image report API issue in the Smush column? If so does that file path have HTTP instead of HTTPS, or file name have empty spaces?

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hello,

My setup is a multisite installation.

    • Site Health doesn’t report any critical issues for none of the sites hosted.
    • Some sites are using English as the default language, and some don’t. It seems that the notice appears for sites that don’t default to English, but I’m not 100% sure. Also, I use the latest WP core (6.7.2).
    • I checked a pretty good deal of images in all sites, and none of them report any issues, aside from the occasional Invalid file format (ie for webp images). I additionally checked the browser’s console for mixed content issues, and found none.

    Thank you.

    Hello @geomagas

I ran some tests and was able to replicate this issue on a multisite, so I reported the problem to our development team.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide an estimated time for when it will be fixed, but I can assure you that we will address it in the next plugin updates. Therefore, I am going to mark this thread as resolved.
Feel free to send a message if you have any other questions.

    Kind Regards
    Amin
