funcitons.php returning an error

  • My website, https://basecamplegends.com, has had a multitude of problems that I’m slowly working through. I finally got my site up after being down for several months, but I can’t get the theme I was using to work again. When I activate the custom theme I had been using, I get this error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/b/a/s/basecamplegend/html/wp-content/themes/BCL_3.0/functions.php on line 1

    I don’t know alot about code, but the file appears alright to me. Any ideas?
