Fully Featured

  • WP Google Maps has all of the features that you need and then some! I spent some time researching each of the WordPress Google Maps plugins. I wanted something versatile and easy to work with. I knew the Pro version was the way to go because I like to support the WordPress community.

    I needed the CSV import because I had a project that wanted to pinpoint a bunch of locations. I like to style my Google Maps to fit the theme of the site. I also like to use my own retina-ready map marker icons. These things give the map a custom and professional feel.

    It didn’t take me long to get setup and running with my customized Google Map.

    I did have one issue where I was not able to set the zoom level on mobile independent from the zoom level on the desktop. I reached out to support and they quickly gave me a solution to add a small snippet of Javascript to set the mobile zoom level.

    I will use this plugin for every project going forward.
