Fullscreen Images in Blogposts

I really love this theme because of the fullscreen feature images.

Now I would like to have the option to display media attachments as repsonsive fullscreen images just like the feature images.

Is there an easy way to implement this into the Resonar theme or are there any plugins that already do the job?
