Fullscreen button not working v5

For me fullscreen works fine with Android, Windows and Linux, however I don’t have any iOS device. Please test the demo version here:

About the loading icon – this is handled by PhotoSwipe 5 itself. Maybe you need to contact the maintainer of PhotoSwipe about this. See https://photoswipe.com.

Same issue on your website, when you press on the button nothing happen.

And it works with PhotoSwipe 4?

Please test these as well – so we hopefully find a solution (as I said, I don’t have any iOS devices at all, so I can not test it myself, sorry):

With V4 there is no full screen button at all on iOS.

Ok, then full screen mode seems not to be supported on your device. Which iOS version do you use?

In fact the button should then not be visible for PhotoSwipe 5 if fullscreen is not supported by the browser. I’ll fix that for the next update.

Does the other example at https://arnowelzel.de/en/projects/example-for-webgl provide a fullscreen mode? If my assumption is correct, that example should also not allow fullscreen as well.

You can also check this example – these images try to open in fullscreen mode right away, but I think this will also not work on your device:

Edit: the example at Photoswipe.com cleary says “fullscreen API is supported in all major browsers, except mobile Safari.” – so no way to get fullscreen there, sorry.

Starting with release 5.0.6 the fullscreen button will no longer be displayed if the device does not support this feature.

Unfortunately there is nothing else I can do – if the required API is not available, fullscreen mode can not be provided.

I’m using the latest iOS version 15.6, both link are not are not working either.

Thanks for the update, at least it’s now like v4.
