Full width page template problem?

  • Hi There
    I’m trying out page builder before buying the pro version on the Woo Canvas theme. On a new page, I cannot select a full width page template on the page template options, it’s not there at all so I cannot try out the full width row background image / colour feature in page builder. In the Canvas theme layout options I can only find the full width header and footer options. Can you please advise on how I can activate the full width page template on a new page or post.

    Hi,

    Yup in Canvas the full width page layout is done by selecting the full width page layout at the bottom of the edit page.

    In the back end, go to edit page, then scroll to the bottom of the page. At the bottom you’ll see you can change the layout per page. If you select the layout to the right of the one with the X then that page will be full width ??

    OK, tried that in canvas layout settings for that page but full width is still not available in the page attributes Template dropdown menu (it is in your video tutorials) and in page builder there’s no option to make the background image full width.
    Would appreciate your further help.

    Hi Al,

    Yes that’s right there is no option in the drop down for full width,

    With Canvas the setting is at the bottom of the page

    Dont look in the dropdown – scroll to the bottom of the page ??

    Click on the layout option , next to the one with the X

    So don’t look in the drop down for full width, scroll to the bottom of the page,

    Ah OK, the demo video threw me as you had it in the drop down menu so apologies, thanks for your help on a Sunday.
    One last question if you will, any issues you are aware of with page builder pro when working on my website locally using Xampp? I did have issues with Canvas page builder and Xampp.

    I’m not aware of any issue with Xammp, but I’m a mac user and use MAMP ??
