Full Width Menu [Genesis Sample Child Theme]

Hey there!

All I’m really trying to do at the moment is get the menu bar above the header to show up full width. I’ve tried to place the width at width: 100%;, and that didn’t work, and after combing through 20 pages of things on the studio press forums, it seems as if I’m the only one who wants a full width menu on my blog.
