Hey y’all,
having a similar issue here, not with the ‘Blocksy’ theme par-se but with elementor! My issue is.. I’ve built a custom theme for a client, we use elementor for the front end, and some of the internal content (LMS plugin). which was working fine until now.
The problem is that when ‘default template’ is used for a page or post, Elementor appears to remove default wordpress head?!! If i use ‘elementor full width’, i regain some functionality, like maybe the default navi, but not always?!! I’ve even tried a bunch of default themes, wp2020, layers, pico etc and the results the same. If Elementor is deactivated, then all works fine, so I can only think the issues is elementor related!
Sorry, I dont have a solution. BUt hopefully some one does, just want to share my experience hoping it helps anyone else like yourself Miguel or Blocksy devs in getting to the bottom of this.
Looking at the source output, it appears that elementor removes the deafault ‘wp head’ and prioritises its own scripts load. I’ll dig into that more tomorrow (‘ ‘ .
