• I want to insert 10 full-width images to my homepage, stacked on top of each other, which would auto-play a video on mouse hover. Not in a lightbox, but behind the image’s title.

I’m using the Noha theme, which almost does as above but only with portfolio items which must have links as default. But I don’t need these images to link anywhere else.

I’ve looked around but can’t find any plugins or solutions to do what I need. If anyone knows of a plugin that would help, or a way of removing links from certain portfolio items…Any help appreciated!

    Thanks

I recommend asking through your theme’s official support channel about theme related alterations. We don’t know enough about your theme’s inner workings here to be able to help much.

As a workaround, could you supply # as a portfolio link so if anyone clicks on it the page simply reloads? Or listen for click events via jQuery, then do event.preventDefault() to even stop the reload. You can alter the mouse cursor type with CSS so there is no indication that there is a link to follow.
