• I am looking to get more out of the real estate provided on the Full Width Page template content area.

    If you look at this page: https://c7f.82f.myftpupload.com/home/nassau/gracewood/ you’ll see that there is a large column of empty space on either side of the content.

    How do I reduce the amount of space on either side so that I can increase the amount of content appearing at one time without scrolling?

    FYI, I used the plugin Column Shortcodes to set up columns on the page already.

    Thanks in advance for you help.

  • Hi there! The page isn’t currently taking advantage of the full width of the page template. In this screenshot the blue area shows you the width of the page (set to 1110px, just like the demo): https://cloudup.com/cX_2r0Gc7BA.

    If you let your content go wider or add another column, you can use that space to the right that’s currently empty too (but that’ll depend on how your plugin works, so I’m not sure on how you should specifically change that — maybe it has width options you can set?).

    Let me know if you have any questions! ??

    Hey Sarah,

    Thanks for your response!

    This is the CSS I have set up for the columns:

    .one_half {
    	width: 49% !important;
    	margin-right: 0 !important;
    }

    And that’s the only CSS I have set up for the columns thus far. Can you think of any lines of CSS that will make the columns take advantage of the full width?

    Is there any way to extend the content into the orange area (from your screenshot?)

    Thanks!

    Hmm… I’m not sure. I checked out the plugin documentation and you’re using the CSS they recommend for two columns, so it seems like it should use the full width of the page. Is there a width setting somewhere within the plugin possibly? Other CSS I tried didn’t adjust it properly either. :/

    The plugin pros may need to help out on this one:
