I am trying to edit my page using GeneratePress and generateblocks. Both are the free versions. I am trying to get the container to be full width. And the inner container to be ‘contained width’. Is this possible to do in the free version?

    Hi there,

    1. set the Page Content Container to Full width – see here:
      https://docs.generatepress.com/article/content-container/
    2. Then add a GB Container Block to the page
    3. then in the container blocks toolbar select the Insert Inner Container:
      https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/add-inner-container/

This will give you a Full Width container with a centred Inner Container Block that has a Sizing > Max Width automatically set for you

    Hello,

I can’t seem to find the page content container on the first step. Is that only for premium users? or do we have that option available to free users as well?
    – same with the 3rd step too. Those are not showing up inside my container blocks.

    1. the Content Container is found when you edit the Post or Page, check the setting sidebar. Its part of the Free theme
    2. the Container Block, make sure your version of GenerateBlocks is up to date, and add a new Container to the page.
Note – the option only appears if the Container is at the top level of the page ie. it is NOT inside any other blocks.

    Glad to hear that

Hi David, I am using a template from GP Premium “Volume” that you created, I tried to add a container at the beg (just before your containers in the template) and setup this container in Full width while your containers from the template should remain as it is by default without the Full width mode.
See here an example of a HP https://www.bar-bisou.fr/ that I tried to do on my HP.
My issue is when I changed the content container of the page to “Full width” , it does for all containers of the page and not only for the first container, would you know how to proceed by any chance?
    Many thanks for your help.

or see here another exemple https://www.restaurant-imaginaire.fr/ with the first container full width then the rest is not.

    Hi @steph13100 ,

As the site library is a GP Premium module, please open a support topic in GP’s premium support forum, thanks!
