From our end, with “Force full width” you can go over theme limitations:

but I assume your main problem is rather about the publishing, that you would like to have the slider under your header. Usually theme developers aren’t really giving good positions to put our slider, so you should use the PHP publishing:

you should search for the </header> codepart in your theme. But probably it will be in the header.php file of the theme, so you could open that up first to take a look there. If you found it, you could insert our slider right under it, and that would put it under your menu, into a fullwidth placement.
