Thank you for giving us your honest feedback about our tips and promotional emails. However, we are sorry to hear that the recent increase in the number of emails deterred you from using WP Mail SMTP.
I understand that the number of emails was higher than normal recently since we had a flash sale which was shortly followed up by our July 4th sale.
Please note that all of our newsletter/promotional emails have the option of being unsubscribed entirely via the “Stop Emails” link.
And if you only wanted the volume of emails to be reduced, we also have an option to reduce the types of emails based on category/frequency using the “Manage My Preferences” link.
If somehow those links did not work for you, then we would have looked into the reason for this as soon as possible.
