Full size window (tab) with tweet

    Most time when you click to tweet something from a page a small pop up window shows, you do your twitter business and it closes or you close it and you’re back on the original page. With your plugin (which I love BTW) the tweet window opens in a new full page tab. Is that by design or is this an error that only I am experiencing? Thanks in advance for your help.

    It is by design. I’ll explain.

    When I first launched the plugin, I included the Twitter javascript (the piece that made the small popup window as opposed to the full new tab) directly in the plugin. Shortly following that decision, I had some folks reach out with security concerns over loading JS from Twitter directly from within the code on their site.

    For better or worse, I didn’t want to take a chance of running afoul of security best practices, so I removed the external call from my plugin to make those users happy.
