Full size header image – yet header is too high

I have made an attempt to create a header with the full size image in the background. However, the header container is too high at the moment. my css has a min-height of 200px.
I used WPBeaches suggestion for creating a full size header.

Unfortunately I am now a bit lost – I was thinking the css would handle this.

I am presuming this will be a nice easy question for someone – I am just lost at the moment.
