Full size – full res images are not displaying

  • I noticed this two weeks before 4.4 was upgraded, so i do not believe it is a 4.4 wp issue, but not sure.

    I have images that were uploaded a month ago and display in their full rez glory, recently, newer images that are uploaded are showing up blurry.

    odd thing, the older images when you inspect element say the size it is displaying and a NATURAL size of 1900 x 425 (which is the correct size)

    When inspecting the newer images, the info shows the size displayed but the NATURAL SIZE is the display size, but the image is 1900 x 425, which is what was selected when creating the page.

    BTW, the issue is with the FEATURED IMAGE, as when putting the image inside the content, the image is correctly displayed.

    I am using ‘<?php the_post_thumbnail(‘full’); ?>’

    to display the image. again, the older images uploaded a month ago, look great, just the recent uploads are blurry.

    NO SETTINGS HAVE BEEN CHANGED.
