No, this is not a feature that we are planning to add. You can click on an image and it will take you to a larger view of the image on the Edit Media page.

Let’s see, we have a filter for adding HTML after a video thumbnail, https://maxgalleria.com/documentation/maxgalleria/hooks/?hook=maxgalleria_video_tiles_after_thumb, but there is not a way to pass the link to view the video. And the button will be covering up the most of the video thumbmnail. So I do not see a way to do it.
