In the WooCommerce “Analytics / Revenue” there is a tooltip icon on the “Net Sales” tab that when I hover over it says “Full refunds are not deducted from tax or net sales totals”. In “Analytics / Settings” I have changed “Date Type” to “Date Created” and have reimported Historical Data… but the tooltip still shows. Is there some way to make full refunds included in the Net Sales total??

  • Hello,

I understand that you’d like to have full refunds included in the Net Sales total, regardless of what the tooltip currently says on the Net Sales tab. Please note that refunds are usually considered as ‘negative sales’.

I think the tooltip is to inform the users and to avoid confusion, this is an enhancement reported here. Consulting an accounting professional would be beneficial to gain insight into the optimal method for managing refunds.

That sounds like a customization request, you can reach out to our vetted experts page here: WooCommerce Customizations Page if you would like further assistance with your requirement.

    I hope this helps.
