In the revenue section of analytics I can see icons next to taxes and net sales which says:

“full refunds are not deducted from tax or net sales totals”

when testing refunds both taxes and net sales do seem to go down as well so I’m not exactly sure what that text means if someone can explain what its referring to?

  • Hi @steveokk

    Thanks for reaching out!

To better picture what you are referring to here, can you please share with us a clear screenshot of what you see on your end so that we could address you more effectively?

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io or https://skitch.com/. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Additionally, I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    Thanks!

    Hi @steveokk

Thanks for sharing the screenshot above.

I did some research and it was reported as an enhancement here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-admin/issues/7997

    Hope this helps!

Hi, unable to leave a comment on that github link but from my testing full refunds are definitely being deducted from tax and net sales totals, so that tooltip is incorrect, not sure where the best place to post this info is other than here

    Hi @steveokk

Yes, you are correct becasue the thread is already archived and closed, hence, you are unable to post a comment.

If you think that this is a bug, you can report it here: Bug Report.

    Hope this helps!
