Working as intended for me. Both emails are pretty much identical, just with differing subjects etc.

I was worried you would say that Mike ??

I have tried with with both physical and downloads, and have double checked that the subjects and headers are set correctly.

I will keep digging, hopefully the answer won’t be hard to find.

Tested again. I think you’re getting caught out by the item qty.

It’s only considered fully refunded if the full amount, and full qty of items are refunded. When this happens it also changes the order status to ‘refunded’ automatically.

    Try that ??

Here is what I have just tried. I place an order with 2 different items, then viewed order and changed the status to Refunded. This added a refund meta in the items with the full amount.

The “customer” then received 2 emails, one saying its been partially refunded and then one saying it has been refunded.

Is this what you mean? The only other way I can Refund is the press the refund button and enter the amount, but this always products one email saying partially refunded, even if I enter the full amount. I can’t see a way to refund the qty. Am I being blind?

Doh! Just read the manual and can see exactly where I am going wrong now. I have to click Refund, then on the item row increase the qty which automatically fills in the amount.

    Yup ??

    One last thing ??

Why does changing the order status to Refunded fire off both partial and full refund emails?

    Cheers,

    Steve

I see that one. I’ll stop them firing twice.

    Hi Mike,
I see that this was addressed in an updated but I think there is still a problem. It now only fires one email, but its a partial refund email. I think it could be due to the reason you state above as its not decreasing the item qty.

Its the above. Full refund mail will only send once the plugin deems it a full refund. Full amount, full items. Otherwise its partial.

Ok, so it’s best practice to do the refund on the item first, then change the order status to Refunded.

I will make sure I don’t just change the order status to Refunded, as that will only refund the money, and not reduce the item qty.

    Handy to know ??

    Cheers,

    Steve

I signed up and activated an account with WordPress early yesterday morning unaware that this was not the website builder that I was looking to use. Now I know this site is mainly for forums and blogs and NOT commerce.

I would like a full refund and my account canceled. No sure who to speak to. Wish there was a customer service helpline. Does anyone know what to do to receive a full refund or if a refund is even a possibility??
