Full posts in Category pages? Including links?

  • I’ve searched for this, and apologize if this has already been answered.

    On my site, when clicking a particular category the results returned are summaries of each post, stripped of formatting/links. (using the WhiteClear theme).

    Is this a theme thing?

    Can someone point me in the right direction as to how to adjust this? I’d at least like the links to work, and possible show whole posts under the category sections.

    Yup.

    Does your theme have a category.php or archive.php? Whichever one, edit it and replace the_excerpt with the_content.

    Just wanted to say thanks for the quick reply and that yes, this is the answer – just in case anyone else stumbles across this problem in the future.
